U.S. Coast Guard repatriates 46 migrants to Dominican Republic

The crew of Coast Guard Cutter Joseph Tezanos repatriated 46 migrants to the Dominican Republic, following the interdiction of an irregular, unlawful migration voyage, approximately 34 miles northwest of Aguadilla, Puerto Rico.

Carlos Daniel Feliz, a young man from Barahona, entered the United States illegally by crossing the Mexican border. He was arrested by the American authorities, and has been in a United States prison for the past three months. He reports that, he has been taken to several hospitals but that they have not given him the right prognosis, only gastritis and he needs medical care. "I have been in a cold room for 17 days, eating only chips and juice. They told me in an interview they did over the phone that I can't have a lawyer, that doesn't work here, I haven't seen a judge either," he said.
Un jeune Dominicain entré illégalement aux USA se plaint des conditions de son internement dans une prison étasunienne depuis trois mois. Il dit avoir été dans une chambre froide pendant 17 jours pendant lesquels il n'a eu droit pour nourriture que des Chips et du jus. On lui a dit dans un entretien téléphonique qu'il ne pouvait pas avoir un avocat et jusqu'à présent il n'a pas vu un juge non plus.

DR is a beneficiary of the U.S. initiative to promote the semiconductor industry and must take advantage of the Center of Excellence in Costa Rica.
Opinion. La RD devrait suivre l'exemple du centre d'excellence qui va être installé au Costa Rica afin d'éduquer les travailleurs dans les domaines de la high-tech du futur , allant de cyber sécurité à l'intelligence artificielle.
NB. Remarquez qu'il s'agit du pays, le Costa-Rica, sans armée qui ne serait pas un pays mais qui ne fait pas dans le "mistik" mais prépare ses habitants aux défis du futur.

Diario Libre editorial comments: “The Dominican Republic needs a new Penal Code, but it should not be a fancy one that represents a setback. The articles related to the prescription of corruption, tolerance of corporal punishment on minors and sexual violence are unacceptable. Likewise, keeping the three exceptions for abortion out of the penal code continues to be one of the most controversial points.”

La RD a besoin d'une nouveau Code Pénal mais qui ne devrait pas faire la part belle à une régression. Les articles liés à la prescription de la corruption, de la tolérance aux punitions corporelles sur mineurs et de la violence sexuelle sont inacceptables.
President Abinader assures there is no better place to invest than the Dominican Republic

President Luis Abinader, during a ceremony recognizing more than a dozen foreign capital companies with Prodominicana, reported that foreign direct investment in the Dominican Republic exceeded 4 billion dollars. "This is the Dominican moment. There is no better place to invest than here. I assure you, the data certifies it and you have already verified it," he said.
Le président Abinader au cours d'une cérémonie a rappelé que l'investissement direct en RD a dépassé 4 milliards de dollars. " C'est le moment dominicain ; Il n'y a pas de meilleur endroit pour investir qu'ici. Je peux vous en assurer et les chiffres le certifient." a t-il dit.
NB. 4 milliards de dollars c'est la somme dilapidée par l'association de malfaiteurs en bande organisée tèt kale héritiers des macouto/militaro/duvaliéristes qui pendant 29 ans ont pratiqué le trafic d'êtres humains, de sang et livrés aux laboratoires étrangers pour des recherches sur la pilule contraceptive ( à la quelle les femmes haïtiennes n'ont jamais eu accès) la population pauvre de Cité Simone, actuellement Cité Soleil au ministre de la Santé Boulos, père de celui du sirop Pharval qui tua plus de cent enfants.
