Haitian Community Protest @ Bill Clinton’s Harlem Office to mark 5 year anniversary of Haiti Earthquake
When: Monday, January 12th, 2015, 3pm-6pm
Where: Outside Bill Clinton’s Harlem Office, 55 West 125th Street, New York, NY 10027
Monday, January 12, 2015 will mark 5 years since a 7.0 earthquake devastated the Haitian capital, Port-au-Prince, and surrounding areas. People and governments around the world contributed billions of dollars of aid. Having decided that this was way too much money for Haitians to manage, the “rulers of the world”, who call themselves “the international community”, chose Bill Clinton as head of the Haiti Reconstruction Fund. They forced Haiti’s president and parliament to yield absolute control of the reconstruction of our country to Bill Clinton.
Today, 5 years and more than 6 billion dollars later, Haitian victims of the earthquake are still living in tents and the entire country is in worse condition than it was in 2010. To help cover up their plunder, Bill and Hillary Clinton dredged up the degenerate crackhead Michel “Sweet Micky” Martelly and installed him president of Haiti.
We call on all justice loving people to join the Haitian community in this protest and we ask that you not support Hillary Clinton’s candidacy for president of the United States.
