This New York Times critic's pick and award-winning film is a love story of bikes and one-night stands told through two African-American twenty-somethings dealing with issues of class, identity, and the evolving conundrum of being a minority in rapidly gentrifying San Francisco-a city with the smallest proportional black population of any other major American city.
The evening will feature live acoustic soul by Jeremy James before the film.

Jeremy James has been heard on radio stations like 93.5 FM, 98.7 Kiss FM, and Jammin 105. He has appeared on television shows like "Today In New York Weekend" on NBC4, BET 106 & Park and received many press articles including a spotlight in the Daily News. James' music was also featured in the HBO film LIFE SUPPORT starring Queen Latifah. For years, he has wooed audiences with his performances in well-known New York venues including SOB'S, The Schomburg, Joe's Pub, Knitting Factory, and the Blue Note. Playing those gigs is where he honed his sound. It comes as no surprise that he has performed and recorded with various artists such as Atlantic Starr, SWV, Devine and Donell Jones, to mention only a few.
