Haiti: Enough Is Enough, Bring on the Revolution ! - Par Dady Chery

Ask Haitians on the street why they have put their wiry bodies in the paths of the bullets and tear-gas canisters of Haiti’s various mercenary forces, foreign and domestic, and they will tell you it is because they want to end the foreign occupation. They might add that they cannot make a living, care for their parents, send their children to school, get food to eat or even clean water to drink. In all likelihood, the word election will not come up. Yes, the fraudulent elections of August 9 and October 25, 2015 were an insult, but they are far from being the worst one, which is the more than decade-long foreign rule of the world’s first black republic by a coalition of colonial powers and their lackeys, with genocidal intents. Haiti’s more astutepoliticians look as though they are running ahead of the crowds, but they are checking back all the while, to make sure they follow the popular will.

Traduction approximative.

Haiti is in the midst of a new iteration of its continuing revolution. The predatory international community has not quite decided whether it should behave more like a rat skittering away from a sinking ship or a rabid dog foaming at the mouth in its final stand. For days, a C17 cargo plane has been parked in Port-au-Prince’s international airport, threatening to carry off Haiti’s opposition, waiting to transport a cargo of fleeing colonists, or both. The bloodthirsty former paramilitary goon, Guy Philippe, has been returned to the country. He is supposed to frighten the population, but he merely reminds everyone that he could be quickly made to run into exile again with his tail between his legs. The opportunistic non-governmental organizations (NGO), which depend on the status quo to guarantee their tax-free salaries, have already changed their rhetoric to attack Michel Martelly and his surrogate Jovenel Moise, and discuss them in the past tense. No one is fooled.

Daniel, what do you mean by ( blame ) "others" ? Who are these "others" ? What role do "others" play in haitian politics ?

If effectively they don't have any, if their interventions in Haïti's internal affairs are just a chimère, an expression of the haïtian paranoïa, you must be right : "others" are not to be blame . Let's put the blame on Haïtians'shoulders.

After all, is not that the role which has be given to them by "others" since 1804 : You should be the pariahs the Americas.

Haïtans have fulfilled it, playing again and again with a kind of maestro the role of the viain.

Proof ? Here you come, again with the same cantique : don't put the blame on "others".

They are innocents and Haïtians are the guilty one.

Pff..!

I dare you to try to unit a family wen some one is constantly acting to divide his members.

Try with your own family. Start by telling zen reports bad words on this one to this other one. In a short time you will create a mess : this uncle will not speak anymore to his sister, cousins will become enemies.., etc. And the family will soon fall apart.

Just try the experience...

Unity is possible if every one knows exactly what is going on. In order to avoid to fall in the trap of " "others" who carefully with science and patience are dividing the haitian society.

The reason why good information and communication are the base of democracy. This is why, at the contrary, together with education they have been forbidden in Haïti for the majority of the population.

Unity is not possible without respect and dignity. And unfortunately "others" have been teaching Haïtians to look at themselves and their compatriots like KK, like non human.

Unity is only possible if Haïtians try to restaure dignity and respect for themselves, for their brothers and sisters, for their environment.

This is a long process which is the real goal of this non buying of the elections that "others" have been cooking.
