A search in Google using Dominican as the key word will produce the following news title: “Stop the lynching of Blacks by Dominican Nationalists!!!” The article is from the website www.indybay.org, with the specific location www.indybay.org/newsitems/2007/02/13/18362534.php. (Bay Area Indymedia, CA) “Between January and July of 2006 alone; nearly 20,000 Blacks were rounded up and dumped at the Dominican border; many of them savagely beaten, stripped of their clothing and many women raped.” It’s this type of senselessness that stokes hatred between Haitians and Dominicans.
